Sensitivity Labels

Sensitivty Labels are used in Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) to tag content so the recipient knows how to handle it. It's not just "recipient based", emails marked as Confidential block the recipient from printing or forwarding the email.


When you open a new Outlook email, Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or PowerPoint deck, you will see "Sensitivity", top right. Click on this and you will see 4 options, all relating to Savanta's data classification policy. If you hover over each one you'll see what it will do.
